BANGKOK ARRIVAL

Arrival at Suvarnabhumi International Airport, collect your luggage then meet your private tour guide outside the arrival halls.

Transfer to your hotel then check in and relax at your own leisure in Bangkok.

(Check in time is 14.00 – Early check in is upon availability)

BANGKOK – AYUTTHAYA AND FLOATING MARKET (Breakfast/Lunch)

After having breakfast, start the 2-hour drive to Ayutthaya. The ancient city of Ayutthaya was founded around 1350, and became the second capital of Siam after Sukhothai. On this full-day trip, we will explore the ruins of the old city, in the UNESCO listed Ayutthaya Historical Park. The park is an archaeological site that contains palaces, Buddhist temples, monasteries, and statues.

Stop at the Bang Pa-In Royal Palace. The palace was originally built in 1632 by King Prasat Thong. At this spot, we can find a number of impressive buildings built in different architectural styles from Thai, Chinese and European design. Continue the tour with a visit to Ayothaya floating market and enjoy some free time for lunch.

After lunch, we will visit Wat Phra Sri Sanphet and Wat Mahathat to discover the historical ruins of the great temple sites.

Return to Bangkok at around 6:00 PM, free time for dinner.

BANGKOK DISCOVERY (Breakfast/Lunch)

After breakfast get picked up from your hotel and take a drive through Bangkok’s bustling center, letting your guide point historic sights and landmarks on your way to the Grand Palace. Explore a dazzling complex of temples, palaces, and gardens with an experienced guide. Along the way, check out the gilded decorations at the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, see the largest collection of Buddha images at the Temple of the Reclining Buddha.

Admire the green stone statue that gives the Temple of the Emerald Buddha its name, meander past the Temple of the Reclining Buddha’s opulent exterior, and get the chance to enter the Coronation Hall and the Royal Funeral Hall to see where Bangkok’s royalty host their most celebratory and somber moments.

Lunch at local restaurant.

After lunch we will visit Wat Traimit and Wat Pho temples.

Wat Traimit, the temple is known for its famous Golden Buddha constructed during the Sukhothai period. The solid gold Image is 3 metres high and weighs five and a half tons.

Wat Pho, the temple is one of Bangkok’s oldest and largest temples. Wat Pho was built by King Rama I about 200 years ago and houses the gigantic gold plated Reclining Buddha image. This unique image is 49 metres long and 12 metres high with beautifully inlaid mother-of-pearl soles.

Finish the tour then return to your hotel to relax.

BANGKOK – FLIGHT TO CHIANGMAI (Breakfast)

This morning, you are free at your own leisure until our driver transfers you to the airport for your short flight to Chiangmai. Getting picked up by our driver in Chiangmai, you will then head to your hotel.

CHIANG MAI CITY AND TEMPLES (Breakfast/Lunch)

After breakfast drive around the Old City to see city’s moat and ruined walls. Start the temples tour with Wat Chiang Man, the oldest temple which probably dates from 1296. The temple was the residence of King Mengrai, who founded Chiang Mai, and is noteworthy for a chedi supported by rows of elephantine buttresses.

Visit Wat Phra Singh, which was built in the year 1345. This temple contains marvelous examples of Lanna art including a Lanna style viharn and the finest scripture repository of its type in the north.Proceed to Wat Suan Dok, which means field of flowers. This temple is one of the first temples with a large viharn, or prayer hall. This chapel is unusual not only for its size, but also the fact that it is open on the sides rather than being totally enclosed.

After lunch at local restaurant we will visitWat Phrathat Doi Suthep, which was built in 1383, located 15 km from the city and 3,500 feet above sea level. See the marvelous golden pagoda, which contains the holy relics of Lord Buddha.

Enjoy the panoramic view of Chiang Mai City and Ping valley from the summit of Doi Suthep. Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep can be approached on foot by climbing 306 steep stairs, flanked by tremendous mythical Nagas, which symbolizes humanity’s progress from earth to nirvana.

Finish the tour and transfer back to your hotel to relax.

CHIANGMAI – PAI (Breakfast/Lunch)

Pick up at hotel at 08 am then head to Pai, a small town in northern Thailand’s Mae Hong Son Province, on the way we will visit Pong Dued Hot Spring the biggest hot spring in Thailand and Huay Nam Dung national Park which offer the best scenic point ever.

Lunch at local restaurant then visit Love Strawberry Pai Farm, Nam Hu Temple with an amazing Buddha with unique design. Visit Coffe in Love, a nice coffee shop in Pai (Exclude food and beverage).

Finish the tour then transfer to your hotel to check in and relax.

PAI – RAFTING – PAI (Breakfast/Lunch)

You will be picked up from your hotel in Pai at 07:00 for a short drive to Thai Rafting base where a breakfast will be served during the safety briefing. Once  paddles are selected you will have life jackets and helmets suited to your size.

A minivan (or a taxi, depending on the group) will drive you to the river on a 70 kilometer scenic road (1h30m) + 20 mn in a 4 wheel drive trail to reach the “Suza waterfall”.

The rafting trip will start at 10.30.

Around lunch time you will reach the Pai River and take a break to enjoy a filling picnic; after rowing your boat few more kilometers, you will stop at the hot springs. From this point on, you must be ready for a great deal of fun; through the set of the Rising Stone Rapids (about 5 rapids between 100 to 300 meters long, grade 2-3). Then, you will continue to paddle through the Pai Gorges scattered with few more tricky rapids.

Approaching the end, your boat will pop out into the Mae Hong Son Valley and meet the first farming areas.

We will disembark at the Mae Surin National park Headquarter around 17:00 to redeem your main luggage and take a refreshing shower before a transfer to your hotel in Pai.

PAI – CHIANGMAI – FLIGH TO KOH SAMUI (Breakfast)

This morning, our driver will transfer you back to the airport of Chiang Mai for your flight to Koh Samui. On arrival, our staff will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.

Seasonal information

This tour is designed for all-time. During the peak season, namely late September to next March, great weather brings out the best colors of Thailand. Although it can be a bit hotter and rainier during summer time, namely April to September, trekking in Khao Yai National Park gets you better chances to see wildlife. Typhoon hits the coast during July to October, which sometimes might compromise your experience in Phuket. However, everything can be tailor-made, remember? If your plan doesn’t fall in the “best time to Thailand”, our travel consultants can still make it possible by adjusting activities, destinations and etc. Specify your travel time and let us work the magic.

Thailand visa

Thailand currently offers visa-free travel to nationals of 57 countries and territories. The Thai government maintains bilateral agreements on visa waivers with some countries. Nationals of 21 countries can obtain a visa on arrival. Please kindly contact our travel consultant to get the information of your visa to Thailand.

Meals

Daily breakfast at hotels and a lunch for days with sightseeing are included, so are some dinners as mentioned in the itinerary. For meals that are not included, your tour guides will be happy to offer suggestions. If you have any special dietary requirements, please let us know when making your inquiry. We will do our best to accommodation and we appreciate your understanding at some places that are not within our control.

Transportation

You will have a private car in each destination; our cars are within 5 years of usage and your private drivers will be polite and drive with strong regard for safety. All of vehicles are in good maintenance and with A/C.
