THAILAND – BANGKOK ARRIVAL

Arrival at Bangkok International Airport, your private driver from Asia Dream Tours will be waiting for you at the airport to transfer you to your hotel.
While every effort is made to have your room available upon arrival, check in time is at 02:00pm; your room may or may not be ready before this time.

Check into your hotel and relax at your own leisure.

BANGKOK DISCOVERY (Breakfast)

This morning, meet our tour guide at Lobby, and start to visit the famous Reclining Buddha at Wat Pho – the oldest massage school in Thailand, where the blind may be trained to become masseuses. Then visit a site the Thai people consider the most sacred in the Kingdom: The Royal Grand Palace. This is one of the most beautiful examples of an ancient Thai court, with several Halls in same compound.

Return to your hotel after the visit.

BANGKOK – FLIGHT TO CHIANG MAI – AFTERNOON VISIT DOI SUTHEP (Breakfast)

This morning, our driver will transfer you to the airport for a short flight to Chiangmai.
Welcomed at the airport by our tour guide in Chiangmai, we will start visiting Wat Prathat Doi Suthep – the most important and famous temple in Chiang Mai. The tour begins with a pleasant wildly driving up 3,500 feet above sea level to the sacred temple of Doi Suthep. You then ascend up the 306 steps to the temple gateway which guarded by two splendid Nagas (serpents). Walk around the grounds of Doi Suthep past golden pillars, six foot gongs and rows of bells. A five tiered parasols made of gold sat on display in the inner courtyard.

Wat Prathat Doi Suthep was built in 1383, is the symbol of Chiang Mai. It is the most sacred temple in the city and contains the holy relic of the Lord Buddha which is enshrined in the magnificent golden pagoda that can be seen for miles around. A panoramic view of the city and the surrounding countryside can be seen from the temple grounds.

Return to your hotel after the visit.

CHIANGMAI – DOI INTHANON (Breakfast/Lunch)

Meet our tour guide at hotel lobby, and start tour to Doi Inthanon, 8,500 feet above sea level, is the highest summit in the country. Doi Inthanon is the tail of Himalaya mountain range, designated as a national park, the moist natural environment is a paradise for birds as it has almost 400 species, animals, flowers and faunas. After a final steep climb, the summit is surprisingly flat though misty, cool and breezy.

Walk shortly to see a small Stupa contains the remains of Chao Inthawichayanon the last independent ruler of Chiang Mai who died in 1897 after Lanna Kingdom was combined to be a part of Siam. Enjoy exploring around Ang-Kha Nature Trail at the highest peak viewing beautiful Fern & Moss as well as White & Red Rhododendrons (bloom only during Jan – Feb). After visit the Twin Pagodas built by the Thai Air force in honor of their Majesties King and Queen for their 60th Birthday Anniversaries. A visitors’ center nearby contains tourist information both in Thai and English. On the the way down we will stop at Hmong Tribal Market who trade various kinds of vegetation, temperature fruits and flowers from their own farm.

Lunch will be served at the local restaurant.

After lunch continue drive through Baan Khunklaand,the biggest Hmong community of DoiInthanon heading to the Royal’s Project initiated by his Majesty the King to stop the hill tribes from growing the Opium. Enjoy searching around, taking some pictures of the beautiful flower plantations and the organic farmland inside the Project. We will also visit the Karen hill tribe village at Baan Sop Had then stop for relaxing at Wachiratarn Waterfall. Refresh yourself by fresh and clear fall after a long day tour. Return to your hotel after the visit.

Rest of day is for relaxing at your own leisure.

CHIANGMAI – ELEPHANT RESCUE NATURE PARK (Breakfast/Lunch)

Tour starts from 08:30; Ends at 17:30

Pickup from your hotel / guest house at 08:30 and drive up north.
• Visit Elephant Poo Poo Paper Factory.
• After your visit we then carry on to our elephant park.
• Upon arrival at the camp (1hr drive from Chiang Mai) Change clothes into beautiful uniforms provided by us.
• Introductory discussion about elephants and mahout life.
• Learn to make vitamin ball / herbal medicine for the elephants.
• Feeding, observation and interaction with elephant.
• Plant trees to provide food for the elephants (available from June-September) or cut sugar cane and grass for them.
• Enjoy a delicious home cooked Thai lunch.
• Walking with the elephant to beautiful viewpoints, where you’ll have plenty of wonderful photo opportunities.
• Walk down the hillside towards the elephant bathing area and enjoy bathing and brushing the elephants in their very own swimming pool.
• Say farewell to your new elephant and mahout friends.
• Refresh with some snacks and coconut drink.
• Transfer back to your hotel

CHIANGMAI – FLIGH TO LUANG PRABANG (LAOS) (Breakfast)

Free at your own leisure until our driver transfer you to the airport for your flight to Luang Prabang (Laos).

Being welcomed at the airport by our driver and tour guide, you will then head to your hotel. Check in and relax at your own leisure.

LUANG PRABANG – KUANG SI WATERFALL – MOUNT PHOUSI (Breakfast)

After breakfast, drive to the beautiful waterfalls of Tat Khouangsi. Below the 90m drop of the main cascade are a series of pools, connected by smaller falls and cascades. At low water levels the water is an unbelievable turquoise, and swimming in the lower pools is a great way to cool off in the afternoon.

On the walk through the forest to the falls, you will also pass the Free the Bears project – home to a group of rescued Asiatic Black (Moon) Bears and one Malayan Sun Bear. In the early afternoon they are often searching for food hidden in their enriched environment enclosures. Or they may just be sleeping! The route home gives the opportunity to stop at the villages of some of the (over 100) different Lao ethnic groups at Ban Ou, Ban Ouay and Ban Thapene.

Returning in the late afternoon, you may opt to finish the day by climbing the over 300 steps to the top of Mount Phousi, to be rewarded by a dazzling sunset from atop this iconic hill in the center of the city. Scattered on the slopes of the hillsides are various temples. Perhaps choose to (re)visit the night market at its base after your descent.

LUANG PRABANG – CITY TOUR (Breakfast/Lunch)

(~05.30 – 07:00)
Rise early to witness one of the most magical and timeless scenes of Southeast Asia: hundreds of monks processing through the streets of Luang Prabang accepting offerings of food from the local residents and businesses. Rising early also gives the chance to wander through the fresh market on the way back to the hotel for breakfast.

After a leisurely breakfast at your hotel, cruise away from the city with a boat trip on the mighty Mekong. Meander up the Mekong to the junction with the Nam Ou river, and the site of the Pak Ou caves. Explore these shrines carved into the cliff face before returning by road at Ban Xanhg Hai village. Along the way, visit the typical Lao villages at Ban Xangkhong and Ban Xienglek, well known for its hand-made Jute Sar paper.

Return to your hotel after the visit. Relax at your own leisure for the rest of day.

LUANG PRABANG – FLIGHT TO SIEMREAP (CAMBODIA) (Breakfast)

After breakfast, our driver will transfer you to the airport for a short flight to Siemreap (Cambodia).

On arrival, our driver and tour guide will meet you up at the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Siemreap. Check in and relax at your own leisure. (Check in time is 14.00)

Overnight in Siemreap.

SIEMREAP – ANGKOR COMPLEX (Breakfast/Lunch)

Early morning, we will visit the sunrise at Angkor Area – the idea is to view the reflection of amazing Angkor temple in the morning sun. Return to the hotel for breakfast. After that, we will start our full day visit, firstly with the sightseeing tour of Angkor exploring the wondrous ancient ruins with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the largest as well as the most complete temple of Angkor Wat. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares. We stroll around this massive edifice, seeing the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple.

SIEMREAP – BANTEAY SREI – TA PROHM (Breakfast/Lunch)

Heading out of town we make our way to the intricately carved and well preserved temple of Banteay Srei. Along the way we make stopover at the Preah Dark village and we follow these with a visit the Banteay Samre Temple adorned with impressive relief’s depicting scenes of Vishunu as well as Krishna legends. Afternoon, visiting the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm is an incredible sight. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man’s creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature and we also explore the surrounded temples if time permits.

SIEMREAP – DEPARTURE (Breakfast)

Free at your own leisure until our driver transfers you to the airport for your departure flight home.

Seasonal information:

No matter for first-timers or seasoned travelers, an adventure to Cambodia and Vietnam is ideally made during October to next February. If you would like to dodge from big crowds, leave Chirstmas and January. Travelling for great value and experiences, we would suggest late September to October and February. If the heat and occasional rainfalls are not much a problem for you, you are in for a great deal during the shoulder seasons, namely March to August. During this time, we will arrange a noon break and the pace will be much lossen as for you to restore. Laos is a destination in Southeast Asia good for visiting all-year-round. During the peak season, namely late September to next March, great weather brings out the best colors of Thailand. Although it can be a bit hotter and rainier during summer time, namely April to September. However, everything can be tailor-made, right? If your plan does not fall in the best time, our travel consultants can still make it possible by adjusting activities, destinations and etc. Specify your travel time and let us work the magic.

Thailand visa

Visitors to Thailand must obtain a visa from one of the Thai diplomatic missions unless they come from a visa-exempt country or a country whose citizens are eligible to obtain visas on arrival. Thailand currently offers visa-free travel to nationals of 64 countries and territories…

Cambodia visa

The easiest way to get visa for Cambodia is do it on arrival. Most nationalities are offered Visa-on-Arrival at international airports of Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. Fare is USD 30-35 for all nationalities, for a maximum stay of 30 days and extensions are possible.

Laos visa

It is very easy to obtain a visa at the airport of Luang Prabang, cost ranges from USD20 to USD50 per person depended on nationality.

Meals

Daily breakfast at hotels and a lunch for days with sightseeing are included, so are some dinners as mentioned in the itinerary. For meals that are not included, your tour guides will be happy to offer suggestions. If you have any special dietary requirements, please let us know when making your inquiry. We will do our best to accommodation and we appreciate your understanding at some places that are not within our control.

Transportation

You will have a private car in each destination; our cars are within 5 years of usage and your private drivers will be polite and drive with strong regard for safety. All of vehicles are in good maintenance and with A/C.
